A Fireproof Life

Living a FIREPROOF life for the everlasting, almighty GOD of the UNIVERSE

I promise i will blog about my awesome 3 month holiday soon but for now its all Bendigo. So I'll just recap day1week2 of uni life in rural Bendigo.

Woke up today at 4am, ah, the joys of monday morning train rides. So tired considering that I slept at about 1am. I did a heap of last minute packing (tried many find a way to package Janice's paper ball thingy) and stuffed all the food i could find in typical asian tofu containers. Caught the 4:59am train to Southern Cross station, but was kinda angry cause the vline agent at glen waverley was not open so had to spend an additional $3+ to get a card to southern cross (which would normally be covered under the vline ticket). Coincidentally met Melissa at Southern Cross, just before I was about to call her (lol Melissa - memories of today haha). We sat around for a bit doing nothing then met Radika and boarded the train.

Train ride was, ermm, sleepy. Us three practically slept the whole way which was vastly different to the wednesday night train back (ohh the memories of wed night - fence...cow...tree, oh and did you know the further object that a person can see, with 20/20 vision is 500km - Sharon's random fact - one of her million random facts). We saw the sun rise, black darkness and heaps of people at Castlemaine. When we reached bendigo we quickly caught the next bus to the uni.

Hours of oral health lectures followed and i was confused, i mean, even reading the powerpoint notes is hard enough let alone understanding what it meant (i.e. the fossae on the distal surface is blah blah, i can't remember). But i kinda got the hang of it after a while and it got interesting. I learnt this today >> what you see is definately not what you get. My explaination >> every single micro-point on each tooth has a name!! Each minuscule dip and bump has a specific name and its is our job to identify them. After Ben's lecture (Grace and i noticed today that in uni you seem to call your lectures by their first name, not their last name - like in high school ... strange) a few of us went somewhere (cannot reveal yet until wed night) and did something.

So...anyhoo, went back to halls to muck around a bit >> scabbed free lunch from halls people, talked and stuff in Sarah's room (who's from the land of many "baa baa" - rofl Melissa), tennis with Nhat, Henry and ____ (i forgot his name) and watched Damien play hard core rock on the piano!! Lecture at Mackay was okay but we were craving for ice cream. So before LARHC meeting started, we went to buy ice cream, which virtually melted when we got outside as its super hot! After LARHC, the car back to halls was crazy. I think that there is something wrong with a certain someone >> gone a bit nuts. but then again the entire day has been a bit nutty.

So here i am typing away when I should be doing some study. I wonder where Grace is, has she finished her CC thingy yet?? owell, there is always tomorrow to look forward to. And sat nite was fun! hehe, Rach out.
